Is Pubg Mobile Korea Version Ban in India ?

PUBG Mobile KR PUBG is one of the many regional adaptations of PUBG. This version has been published by Krafton and is limited to Google Play and Apple App Stores in Korea and Japan. Players often consider it the best choice for the global version of the game due to the abundance of cosmetic items.

A recent post by PUBG Mobile Korea revealed that there would be limitations to prevent players from accessing the Korean version of the game outside of Korea and Japan. That means players from another regions are not accessiable this game. Such as India who have accessed the Korean version of PUBG Mobile due to regional restrictions. Indian players will no longer be able to play the game. There will be place restrictions from May 1, 2021 and the game will be completely inaccessible from June 30, 2021.

Pubg Mobile Korea Ban News

Since the ban of PUBG Mobile in India, many players in the region opted to download the Korean version of the game. This allowed players to circumvent ongoing restrictions and gain access to the still popular Mobile Accessport title. PUBG Mobile Korea revealed that accessing the PUBG Mobile Korean version from May 1, 2021 would have limitations for users. Indian players will be out of the game soon.

Starting on May 1st, players will no longer be able to pay and attempts to do so will lead to network issues. As of June 30, 2021, players outside Korea and Japan will no longer be able to login with the Korean version of PUBG Mobile. There is no official word on why the decision was taken by the developers.

The PUBG Mobile team clarified that the KRJP manufacture of PUBG Mobile is only for users in Korea and Japan and that players from other regions should continue the global version of the game. All global regions except India will no longer be able to settle payments in KRJP builds and may face network issues. Indian players will be able to shop and use the game till 30 June.

The PUBG mobile team also clarified that the decision was taken to provide a better service and is not related to any form of inequality or discrimination. The announcement stated, “For a better experience, we suggest users in Korea or Japan to use your local version or global version. For other changes of services that may be made later, please see our information. ”

After PUBG Mobile is still banned in India, players will have to wait for the official re-release. Which is said to have worked but there is no official release date yet.
